The green inside

"Those who are in are in, those who are out are out."

Getting out of the box, looking to the sides.
We are always used to looking forward and backward, hardly looking around, yet knowing how to do this is a great
lesson, a habit we can learn, a task we can give ourselves until it comes naturally to us to do it.
LOOKING AROUND.
This is what artists, designers, people who design do. And that's what I want to try to get you to do today.
The INCONSUETE is all around you.

We are all used to place artificial turf on the terrace or in our gardens. The idea is great and there can be a lot of
benefits. We don't have to cut it, it is easy to install and stays clean with just water and mild detergent.
The Sit-In collection has a range of different weights and heights, from shaved ones to tall ones, to tickle us
when we stroke them.

But back to the theme of this article, THE GREEN INSIDE, looking around, using unbridled imagination, as Marcantonio, the "Seletti" designer has done in recent years by drawing animals and elements of nature from the real form for a more surreal use.

But of this we will talk about later.
Back to the green inside, what if we used it as a rug? What If instead of wool and synthetic fiber for some times of the year
we tried experimenting with something different?
The costs are low and from my point of view it is worth trying, it may be precisely a seasonal choice but if we
like it no one will prohibit us from maintaining it for as long as we want.
The green in the house, under a table, under couch and armchairs.
With a traditional shape, square or rectangular or a more fun one: oval and polka dot for example.

In each of these cases we must have no limits or hesitation, dive in!
We can adapt this idea to so many styles, let's try to evaluate some of them.
Vintage style with B&B Italia's UP50, a dip into the 1970s, in this case in the cream and red striped version.
The atmosphere of the Tyrrhenian coast in summer come to mind.

Or the desire to plunge into the heart of the Deep South, among the blue of the waves and the green of the cacti, the Aeolian Islands, the
white of lime, a cocktail at sunset.
In this case I recommend Filicudi by Qeeboo, a unique, contemporary and eye-catching design, to experience strictly with bare feet.

And then what?
And then at Aunt Maria's, the retro armchair that everyone might have in the attic.
Here's our Marcantonio back with Botanical Diva for Seletti with a colorful and at times irreverent patterning that
covers the most comfortable upholstery.
A good book and a cool elderflower herbal tea is a must in this case.

And then the COMBO SIT-IN because you know that if we're going to push on the accelerator we might as well do it all the way.

Artificial turf rug, had you ever thought of it?
Yet it is practical, inexpensive, modern.
There would still be plenty of ideas, such as the kids' playroom, smart working area, and  even a
particular entrance.
So I would conclude by saying:
"Astroturf on the terrace? Yes please, but also elsewhere!
