Ancient manufacturing techniques for precious and handcrafted rugs
Our story begins in 1950 when Pietro Radici set up his rugs company “Tappetificio Nazionale Radici” with just two looms and a small spinning machine.
The company began producing rugs in an almost artisanal process, where each item is overhauled by expert hands to eliminate every little imperfection with meticulous reconstructions.
New fabrics for new horizons
After succeeding his father, Miro Radici launched the company into new and innovative products. In 1964 Radici started to produce textile accessories for cars, while 1972 was the year of the new “Sit-in” brand producing carpets for the residential market. In a short time, Sit-in carpets entered the Italian and international homes with its promise of comfort and beauty. In the early 2000s, the production of artificial turf for outdoor and sport fields was added and the company expanded its horizons overseas.
