CARE AND CLEANING OF OUR RUGS

It is advisable, especially with pets, to do two simple daily operations: hoover your rug to remove surface dirt and treat stains immediately to prevent them to penetrate deeply into the fibers.

These easy actions will extend the time between deep cleanings, keeping your rug fresh for longer.

In addition to daily maintenance make sure to do a deep cleaning of your rug at least twice a year.

For the treatment, use appropriate detergents according to the material of the rug you are treating, paying close attention to wool materials, which can lose its elasticity and firmness with some detergents. We recommend to use acidic detergents for this purpose.

If a yarn sticks out don't tear it, but cut it with scissors at the same height as the other ones to avoid damaging the structure of the rug.

In order to protect the rug and avoid undesirable marks on top of it, we reccomend you to place rubber pads under the furniture and avoid dragging heavy objects over the rug which can damage the fibers.
